🧌✨ Confront Your Inner Troll – My New Song is Out! 🎶🎧

Have you ever felt like there’s a tiny troll inside you, stirring up your emotions and creating chaos? 🧌💭 And sometimes, it feels like that troll just keeps growing?

Today, I’m sharing my 46th song as part of my #OneSongAMonth project, only on my #YouTube channel! 🎶📺 This month, I’ve explored the idea of inner trolls through music – a topic close to my heart. ✍️🎧

Growing up in Scandinavia, trolls were a big part of my childhood. They weren’t the sleek movie trolls you see today – nope! They had teased hair, patched-up clothes, and a tail. 👗✨ My memories are filled with Norwegian trolls, a scrappy character named Skräp-Fia (spoiler: that was my mom in costume! 😄), and trolls speaking Finland-Swedish. 🇸🇪🇳🇴

This January, I drew inspiration from a saying my mom loved: “When trolls come out into the light, they burst.” 🌞👹 To me, this is a reminder that the feelings we bottle up can create inner trolls – messy, chaotic emotions that only grow if we don’t confront them. Talking about them can make them shrink, even disappear. 🌀✨

While creating this song, I couldn’t shake the idea of trolls and their symbolism. So naturally, I went all in – crafting a wig, sewing clothes, and even making a tail to fully embody my troll vision. 🧵👗✨

Somewhere between the glue gun and self-doubt, I wondered, “What am I doing with my life?” 😅 But hey, I’ve already been a vampire 🧛‍♀️, an alien 👽, and a zombie 🧟‍♀️, and I’ve worn costumes from all sorts of time periods. Why not add troll to the list? 😄
