It’s finally here! 🎃 Today, October 23rd, I’m thrilled to unveil my 42nd song in the #OneSongAMonth series, and guess what? It's my 3rd HALLOWEEN song! This time around, I’ve crafted something extra special to get you into the spooky spirit. 👻✨

Halloween is my absolute favorite time of year. There’s something so magical about the beauty of nature, the cool darkness, and the fantasy world that comes alive. 🍂🌕✨ This song is unlike my previous Halloween releases—don't be scared! 😱 You’ll still find that unique Melisha sound, but with a metal-inspired twist to shake up your spooky playlist.

The idea behind it Trick or Treat is that some people in your life have Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde personalities and that they really hide some bad intentions. These bad intentions can create bad actions towards you - so to visualize some empowerment for this, I wanted to create a character that is a Karma angel. The Karma angel sends the bad intentions to the other character in the video played by MissyCrown !

Behind the Scenes:

I had the most incredible team working with me, including:🔮 Missycrownproducer a.k.a. Kittykaytee (Kim Malm) – the magic behind the rap 🎸 Francisco De Silvestri – my spellbinding guitar hero, adding a haunting melody✨

A Scary Story: While filming, we had a spooky real-life moment—our drone got stuck in a 20-meter-high tree! After hours of intense effort (and a DIY MacGyver solution involving poles and a fishing net), we managed to rescue it. Eight hours later, we were back in business. Talk about a close call!

The song was recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered right in my own Powah Studio in Brewhouse, Gothenburg. You’ll hear Francisco De Silvestri’s guitar magic alongside mine and MissyCrowns vocals, and it all comes together in a true Melisha-style metal anthem.
